Congratulations! You’ve upgraded your new Montessori Compass account. Now what?
During your trial, you may have noticed the "Getting Started" task bar at the top of your Calendar page. You may have closed that task bar, or you may not have noticed it, especially if someone else actually started the trial for your school. It gives you the sequence of how to get started.
The following is a summary of the steps you'll need to go through to get your new account up and running for your entire school community as quickly as possible. Here's a checklist of what to do:
Create all your Teacher and Administrator profiles for those staff members who will be using MC. Learn how to Create and Manage Users.
Create your Student and Parent Profiles. (This can be done either directly in your account individually, or in bulk via spreadsheet import.) Learn how to Create a Student or Import Student/Parent Profiles in Bulk via Spreadsheet.
Select your communication preferences. (Go to <More/Communication Center> and make your selections on each tab.) Here’s an Overview of Communication Settings.
