Default Attendance Time

For each classroom, you can select whether the default arrival and departure times will be pulled from the Classroom Profile or the individual Student Profiles. To make all students' arrival and departure times the same and consistent from day to day, you should select the default attendance time to come from the classroom profile. If your students have unique arrival and departure times, e.g. some students are half day and others stay full day, then you would want the default attendance time to come from each student's profile. Note: Only an Administrator can make this selection, and a change to this setting will not take effect until the next school day. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to <More/Classrooms> and select a classroom name.
  2. Click "Edit Classroom Profile."
  3. Select the start and end times for your class.
  4. Select the "Default attendance time" of your choice: Classroom Profile or Student Profile.
  5. Click "Save Changes."

You can always edit this later if you change your mind. Just remember that the new setting will not go into effect until the next school day.
